In August 2016 the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Art and Design will partially move to its new university campus on the former Viscose factory compound in Emmenbrücke, a post-industrial town in the North of Lucerne. Renovation of building 745 has been design by EM2N.
In 745 CA students can make use of spacious studios, a new media lab, photo studio, multi-functional spaces, workshops, a cinema, a generous auditorium, various gallery spaces, a new library, a cafeteria, and relax in the park at the river Kleine Emmen.
The photos, snapshots and drone capture (test flight) were taken during the building process between 2014 and 2016.
Building 745 will be inaugurated on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 September 2016 with an opening festival including exhibitions, campus visits and parties.
