Lecture:
Moving in Stillness

In the work of Veronika Spierenburg, the interchange between immobile, mobile – inside and outside – and the scope between the filmic and reality, is essential. She will discuss the strategies and ideas behind her still and moving images. Also, she will reflect how she approaches her work as a continued process.
Veronika Spierenburg’s work strongly is about places where body and space, movement and acoustics meet. Her work is an exploration of geographical space and abstract sound, and about perception itself. She explores a wide range of artistic practices: film, video, photography, installations and books.
