Grand opening of the new campus ‘745’ of the Lucerne University of Sciences and Arts, School of Art and Design in the Viscosistadt in Emmenbrücke.
Visitors, students and staff are invited to discover the new building and experience what artists and designers do and with which questions they engage themselves.
All study programmes and research departments display projects. You can join guided tours, stroll through the building, talk with people or just enjoy food, drinks, music and hang in and around 745.
From now CA can offer students large, bright infrastructures, which includes atelier spaces, a media lab, and a large studio and multifunctional space. Furthermore the school is equipped with a cinema, exhibition spaces, a multifunctional auditorium, a new library, and lounging areas where students and staff can meet. Outside one can enjoy the new park on the river bank of the Kleine Emme, that has view on Mount Pilatus.
